New Meadows hosts the location for Goose Creek, and Goose Creek Trail popular snowmobile destination, and close to popular Hot springs. Weiser River Trail is popular for hiking and biking in the summer. Meadow Creek Golf Course is very close to Brundage and a great place to stay in addition to McCall, Idaho.

TAMARACK, IDAHO! A Must See!
Tamarack has a German feel and reminds me of a mini Vale, but it still growing. Located 90 miles north of Boise in Tamarack, Idaho and 24 miles South of McCall, Idaho. This Resort encomposses 3,500 acres providing on-site lodging, dining and event space to the full range of outdoor recreation in the Idaho mountains. Open year around the winter brings 2,800 feet of vertical on 2,000 mountain acres for skiers and snowboarders, along with Nordic and snowshoe trails. During the summer, the resort is home to mountain biking, ziplining, hiking, rafting and watersports on Lake Cascade.

Lake Cascade Recreation Area is nestled in the majestic mountains of West- Central Idaho. Seventy-five miles north of Boise, one of the major accesses to the area. Traveling east takes you to the Warm Lake area and then on to the magnificent Frank Church River of No-Return Wilderness Area.
Cascade Lake is known for having a population of Yellow Perch, and is a popular Ice Fishing destination. There are also so many back roads and snowmobile trails including Anderson Creek Snow Park.
